Beware, the Snowman goes beyond the limits of the typical "pop punk/metal" band. With catchy guitar and vocal parts, and driving bass and drum parts, Beware, the Snowman distinguish themselves in the vast music world today.
With songs such as "Turn Over a New Leaf", which combines typical pop with metal, "Leaps and Bounds", which sounds like a typical alternative rock song, "Assigned to Muffins", which can be heralded as the 'new generation of rock music', and "This I Promise", which combines a catchy chorus with blistering solos and chugging verses. Beware, the Snowman plays whatever they want, and however they feel like it.
Founded in early Spring 2008 by singer/songwriter Justin Palmer just 'looking to go solo', Justin quickly was embraced with ideas from his closest friends, and from what was a solo project, turned into this group.
Beware, the Snowman plays some fun covers as well. The current cover list that you can expect to hear at random shows are:
-"Another Night": Originally by Real McCoy
-"Dreams": Originally by Van Halen
-"Flavor of the Weak": Originally by American Hi-Fi
-"Right Now": Originally by SR-71
-"Go Your Own Way": Originally by Fleetwood Mac
